Letter from the new Directors
As the Directors of Wellington Court Management Company Ltd., we highly value the responsibility that you have given us to look after Wellington Court and we wanted to impart to you our aims and goals as the new Directors.
Our Aims:

to ensure that Wellington Court continues to be the same beautiful place that we all enjoy living in, as well as to preserve and, where possible, to increase the value and saleability of our properties.

to maintain our very friendly community at Wellington Court. Since the pandemic and with the dedicated input of our now ‘resident musicians’ Jim and Ruby of Flat 14, we now have our own WellieFests in the summer. These mini events have brought us all together where out on the front lawn we drink, dine, laugh and share our stories as we watch the sun set. We would very much like to maintain this friendly atmosphere within our community which would mean that we would like for every shareholder and resident to continue to be respectful, considerate and tolerant of their fellow shareholders and residents.

To be as transparent as we can be with our shareholders and residents. We hope that this website enables you, the shareholder, to have more of an input on how the estate is managed. Here, you should be able to see when and what works are happening in the development and their duration; you should have access to the directors to voice any of your concerns i.e. if you saw a lightbulb out, you could politely email the directors a reminder. The directors will then act in a timely manner.
Our Goals:

to use our best endeavours to provide cost effective management.

to provide realistic forward planning by anticipating problems and not just being reactive. We hope to create a detailed 5 year maintenance plan where we will have assessed current known issues and where we can mitigate against the unknowns.

to introduce brief and timely “Newsletters” in the hope of being more transparent. As you are aware, the AGM is a yearly event and shareholders may have questions within that year about where their service charge is going. We hope that this will become more transparent.

to further encourage the Wellington Court community to become more involved in their properties, by freely providing information to both shareholders and residents. That does not mean that we expect you to start gardening! We only want you to have a vested interest in your surroundings whether as a first or a second home and to add to the community here at Wellington Court.
